Spring Flowers Anytime Craft

By using a few simple items you can have bright flowers in your house all the time and the best thing is they are made by your children. This craft uses coffee filters, washable markers, pipe cleaners and water. You take a filter and have the child color all over it in many colors. You do want some white showing but lots of color. Then take it over to the sink and sprinkle it with water and watch the colors run to cover the filter. You don't want them too wet just damp enough for the colors to run. Let them dry. When dry take a pipe cleaner and poke it through the center bending it to make a stem. There you have your flower. We used three filters so the flower was fuller but the amount to use is up to you.

Evan, Benjamin, and Christopher's flowers. They loved coloring the filters.
