Reunion and Vacation Mix

Family Reunions.  A time a serenity and peace.  A time when quiet is the norm and love abounds.  Who am I kidding?  Unless your family is perfect (congrats if yours is)  then you know peace and serenity never attends famiy reunions.  Sure you may all get a long, but if anyone has small children to through into the mix then chaos is in control.  Don't get me wrong it was great to see everyone, but I'm glad we are all in our own homes once more.  Did I mention that we all went on vacation together?  No?  Well we did.  We somehow managed to find housing for 20 people that would accept us all and the rest they say is history.
Humor me as I list everyone in attendence:
Dad with 2 foster kids and 1 adopted brother (1 seven yr old and 2 five yr olds)
Me with hubby and 5 children under 10
Sister Lilly with hubby and her 3 children under 5
Sister Brin (her hubby couldn't make it)
Sisters Paige, Larissa, and Erin
We all traveled to the Oregon Coast and somehow still love each other despite being with each other for 10 days.  I had an epiphany while on the trip.  This is the second time we've tried this, the last time being two years ago, and I now know why we waited 2 years:  So we forgot the horrors of the last trip!  Just kidding.  It was loud and crazy but great.  The kids had a hoot together especially since we had rented both sides of a duplex and they could run between the two.  Many pictures were taken and as soon as I wade through them I'll get some up.
