We started off the day with a totally yummy breakfast of pancakes with huckleberry sauce. Of course no one, at least none of my family, really got to sleep in. Peter was up and hungry at his usual time of 6ish and the rest were up making noise downstairs. Being responsible parents we decided to at least act as if we were up too.
After breakfast Doug took the bigger kids to the beach while I stayed back with Peter while he slept. Don't let your eyes deceive you. These two are not as innocent as they look.
Seems to me Chris wasn't too happy to be going. This is the funny lip pose Doug asked them to make.
At the beach entrance which was just a short walk away from where we stayed.
Ben and Evan were beach combing. Looks to me like Evan was gathering rocks though I don't know why.
