Expectations are the planned for events of life. However sometimes life decides to throw a curve ball and you just have to roll with it. Case in point this past Sunday. The power to the well at church has a short in it and therefore the church has no water. I was told that the crew to fix it couldn't come until Friday afternoon and would have to dig up the parking lot to fix it. Now after hearing this news what would you expect to happen? Well I thought: No church! There was no way they were going to be able to get it all fixed and put back together in a day and a half. Imagine my dissapointment in learning that the crew were able to make a patch so that we could have church and then would fix it the rest of the way on Monday. How dissapointing. Honestly though the horrible truth is that I was suppose to teach sunday and I procrastinated getting ready for it. I had to cram sunday morning and hope that the Lord helped me teach what he wanted them to hear. While not my best the lesson was okay. And the curve balls kept coming.
Afterwards we went to Doug's Aunt and Uncle's place in northern Idaho. His cousin just got back from his mission and we went for his homecoming of sorts. It seems their stake called a priesthood meeting for the same time as the party so as we got there Uncle Charles had to leave to go to the meeting. So we didn't get to spend time with him, but the cousins were there as were Aunt Gayle, Granny and Uncle Dave. It was fun and great to get reaquainted with everyone.

The highlight was the trampoline there. The boys just loved it and then I put Lexie on and she went crazy. Once she figured out that it wasn't going to hurt her she loved to run around and give me heart attacks. I was so afraid she would fall off because she kept running right by the edge, but she stayed on and laughed non-stop.
