My little boy is growing up so fast. Ben entered cub scouts last year after he turned 8. Since then he has been going to meetings and such but this past week set a new milestone I'm not ready to take. This past week he attended day camp for three days. He loved it. I'm not quite ready for him to be this old and Chris had a hard time. His play buddy was gone all day long. We had to resort to calling Aunt Paige and having her bring over Justin, Natalie, and Stefany to play for a bit on the second day. On the third day they came over to swim and that helped some too. Tuesday was Ben's first day and I sent him off ready for the day with sunscreen, food, water, and extra clothes. Just enough to get through the day. Wednesday I'm sad to say I missed one important step and that was the sunscreen. Poor kid was outside all day and came back a lobster. Didn't seem to deter him though. He even went to a birthday party that night and had fun. Thursday I got it right and he was once again prepared. Good thing too because he went swimming all afternoon in the sun. All in all it was a good experience, but I'm glad he's home again.
Good picture of lobster boy on Wednesday
Burnt but still having fun. Pinata beware!
Modeling glassed from the pinata.
Camp is finally done and he is a bug know it all. They studied bugs at camp and even made a bug trap.
