My week was fairly boring. Doug has been at scout camp all week so the kids and I just chilled at home together. These jars are the fruits of my labors this week. I made mint jelly from my mom's mint plants. Red current jelly from my current bushes. Green beans from my father's garden. I've also had the pleasure of canning apricots and peaches so far. I love seeing the finished work, but boy does it make for lots of dishes and a messy kitchen. After I finished canning these I took a look and realized that I canned Christmas in a jar. See the red and green? So pretty.
